Big news for local vegans and vegetarians (and anyone who likes delicious plant-based food, really) — BE-Hive is opening the BE-Hive Deli & Market!

“After years of successful pop-up dinners, and supplying some of Nashville’s best restaurants and grocers with our plant-based products, we’re excited to branch out with the BE-Hive Deli & Market,” says BE-Hive owner Ben Stix via press release. “Our goal is to make plant-based eating easier and more accessible to our community, and launching the deli is another step in that direction.”

The market will sell all of BE-Hive's products — their famous seitan and newer items like  pepperoni, bacon and andouille sausage —  along with an assortment of sandwiches and snacks including a vegan Reuben, vegan wings and mozzarella sticks. It will open Saturday, April 14, at 2412 Gallatin Ave., in the same building as The East Room and Hail, Dark Aesthetics. Hours will be limited at first, just 11 a.m.-4 p.m., but there are plans to expand (and throw a grand opening party) in June.

BE-Hive also announced a new line of cBEd products, including infused coconut butter and tinctures, which will be available at the shop as well.

“Our cBEd products are made from organically grown hemp that is harvested in Middle Tennessee,” says Stix. “We test all of them through third-party laboratories and provide corresponding lab reports for each individual product, allowing our customers buy full-spectrum hemp products that are safe and legal for consumption.”
