If you’re looking for some holiday spirit(s) before the Christmas season kicks into full gear, drop in to some of the festive events as part of the Holiday Bash in the Five Points neighborhood Dec. 5 through 7. During the days, local artisans will offer holiday shopping opportunities along South 11th Street, renamed “Reindeer Alley” for the occasion.
On Saturday night, Dec. 7, check out the Holiday Cocktail Bash, where your $50 ticket entitles you to six holiday-themed sample-size cocktails, plus snacks from Bartaco and Hero Donuts, DJ entertainment and more shopping, along with food trucks and full-size cocktails available for purchase. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s tequila brand Teremana is sending its Mana Mobile to the party to serve up free Merry Margarita cocktails to 21-and-up patrons on the evening of the Cocktail Bash as well as from 4 until 9 p.m. on Friday and Sunday.
Also on Saturday, Dec. 7, Bagelshop is celebrating one year in business at 2708 Old Lebanon Road in Donelson. From 7 a.m. until 2 p.m., owners Max and Kayla Palmer will offer birthday specials including cake bagels with a funfetti schmear along with fun giveaways during the day. Early birds will have the chance to take home a free bagel and a tote bag if they're among the first 10 folks through the door, and the next 10 will get a gratis bagel.
If you’re not that early of a riser, the 50th person through the door will receive a $50 gift card, and customer No. 100 will score a $100 gift card. So set your alarm appropriately and maybe you’ll get lucky!
