Excuse a little bit of Friday self-promotion, but we’re doing it for you, good readers. Clear your schedule for the week of July 12 through 18, because you’re going to be snarfing down some delicious discount specialty burgers as part of that annual summer tradition, Nashville Scene Burger Week!
Dozens of participating restaurants will be serving up their particular Platonic ideal of the perfect patty at the low, low price of just $7 with the hopes of being selected as the city’s burgermeister. The final list of restaurants is still being compiled, but even a partial roster should be enough to get you to start making plans. Burger specialists like BurgerFi, Burger Co., Grill Shack Germantown, Hoss’ Loaded Burgers, Jack Brown’s and MOOYAH will be competing with other spots swimming into slightly less familiar waters to see who makes the best burger. Think of more unconventional options like Chago’s Cantina, Rock’n Dough, Stay Golden and others that will be pulling out the spatulas to create something special. Of course, as always, there’s a social media contest where you can post your burger photos to Twitter or Insta and tag @nashvillescene with the hashtag #SceneBurgerWeek21 for the chance to win some prizes. Plus voting for the best burger will open on July 12 at the Burger Week website. That’s also where you’ll find the details on the Burger Week Passport, which will allow eaters the opportunity to accumulate points by checking in at restaurants and win prizes from our sponsors.
