The Midtown building last home to meat-and-three fave The Pie Wagon is slated for a Tex-Mex restaurant called Los Toritos. The address is 1302 Division St.
Rodrigo Vera, the owner of the future restaurant, operates a Los Toritos in Gallatin. He tells the Scene he hopes to be open in the new space by early August.
Various social media sites offer strongly positive comments about the restaurant overall.
Best known for its fried chicken and pecan pie, The Pie Wagon ceased operations in April 2018 after 96 years of operations. It was one of Nashville's five oldest restaurants at the time.
