As Tennessee’s first woman-owned brewery, Jackalope Brewing Co. could have taken the obvious route and added yet another version of the suddenly ubiquitous “Galentines Day” events that seem to be happening all over town (and which clog my email box on a daily basis). And actually, Jackalope is doing that, but you won’t read about that here or else I’d have to write about a dozen of them. (However, you can read about it here.)
Instead, I’m more excited to write about the event they have planned on the actual evening of Valentine’s. Chefs rarely get to spend time with their loved ones on holidays like Feb. 14 and New Year’s Eve, but Jackalope founder Bailey Spaulding has come up with an ingenious way to make sure she gets to be with her sweetie that night. She’s invited her chef/husband Luke Williams to cook a special dinner that evening at Jackalope’s Wedgewood-Houston facility, The Ranch. Williams will be joined in the kitchen by Laura Hebenstreit to prepare a three-course dinner that will be served at 7 p.m. Feb. 14 in a private room with a view overlooking the brewing equipment at The Ranch.
Tickets are $65 per person plus taxes and gratuity and include the dinner with three beer pairings. Additional beverages, including wine and cocktails, will be available for purchase from the private bar. To purchase tickets, visit the ticketing link or contact the Jackalope main office at 615-873-4313.
21+ only, please. Reservations only; no walk-ups available.
