Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint Finds Space in Edgehill Village

A Virginia-based hamburger and craft beer chain with a local presence will take space in Edgehill Village.

Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint has signed a lease for the spot last home to Edgehill Cafe and next to J.Crew.

A permit, valued at $155,000, has been issued to allow for the build-out of the space. Franklin-based MTLC Building Group and Nashville-based The Jewel Dean Co. are handling the job.

The address is 1201 Villa Place, Unit 102. Edgehill Village comprises multiple buildings located on either side of Villa and at the intersection of that street and Edgehill Avenue.

Charlotte-based Asana Partners is the majority owner of Edgehill Village. The entity enlisted Elliott Kyle, a retail broker with Nashville-based Equitable Property Co., to handle the lease deal with Jack Brown’s officials. Kyle, who once had some ownership in the property, could not be reached for comment.

Similarly, Jack Brown’s officials could not be reached for comment regarding an opening date and other details.

Germantown and Murfreesboro are home to Jack Brown’s. Chattanooga also offers the restaurant.

Based in Harrisonburg, Va., Jack Brown’s operates six restaurants in that state, two in North Carolina and one in Birmingham.

Edgehill Village is home to Taco Mamacita, Bella Napoli Pizzeria and the local office of Live Nation, among other businesses. Edgehill Cafe closed earlier this year.
