Julia Sullivan at Iron Fork 2018
Nashville native and local oyster whisperer Julia Sullivan is expanding her reach beyond Henrietta Red, her Germantown restaurant known for delicious food, national (and local) awards and in-demand reservations. Her new project, The Party Line, is a full-service catering firm, with Henrietta Red pastry chef Caitlyn Jarvis and Strategic Hospitality.
Sullivan and Jarvis have teamed with Strategic on Henrietta Red since 2017, and now they're doing so again with The Party Line, which is designed to feed people at events and special occasions. They will offer what they are calling “proper party food.”
“Catering is an opportunity to connect with people during the most important times of their lives," says Sullivan in a statement. "We get to do that every night at the restaurant and look forward to taking it a step further."
The Party Line will offer cakes and pastries from Jarvis, plus it has a full liquor license, meaning cocktail menus, beer and wine are part of the party. Services include everything from boxed lunches to dessert displays.
The Party Line is cooking in leased space at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, giving them access to kitchen space in the heart of downtown. The Party Line is not offering concessions at the Schermerhorn at this time (currently there is no food being prepared on site at Schermerhorn). The Party Line is now booking events for September and onward.
