The Forbes 30 Under 30 list is always an anticipated indicator of which dynamic folks are emerging as movers and shakers in various industries and sectors. Actually, there are 20 different industries represented, ranging from finance to music to sports, so it’s really more of a “600 Under 30,” but it’s still a big deal to be included.
This year, Nashville entrepreneur Matt Bodnar was named to the Food & Drink list for his work as a partner with Fresh Hospitality. Squeezing in right under the age limit at age 30, Bodnar was recognized for his financial strategy positing that “the best restaurant investment opportunity exists at the two extremes of modern eating: super healthy, or uber indulgent.” His instincts have proven to be quite sharp as he works closely with local Fresh partners including Tazikis, I Love Juice Bar, Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint, Biscuit Love and others.
Bodnar also produces and hosts a podcast he calls The Science of Success, which focuses on maximizing human potential in business and life. His guests on the podcast have included neuroscientists, authors and other experts, and Bodnar has grown the audience to almost 400,000 downloads.
Pretty darned impressive for someone with so much of his career still ahead of him. Kudos!
