East Nashville Restaurant Week Offers Deals for Diners Feb. 4-10

West Siders often say they cross the river for one main reason: to go out to eat. Well, if that's the case, there's likely to be more traffic than usual on the city's bridges on Feb. 4-10, as that's when East Nashville Restaurant Week returns for its second year.

The event, which is separate from Nashville Originals' Nashville Restaurant Week, encourages eateries to develop a specific deal for diners. Some are going with a discount, while others are developing a specific menu or dish for the weeklong promotion. Some of the participating restaurants will contribute proceeds from the week to Fannie Battle, an East Nashville nonprofit that provides childcare for at-risk children ages six weeks to 12 years old.

If you've been thinking about checking out some new-to-you hot spots, this is your chance. Some of the deals include three courses for $30 at Butcher & Bee, a $35 two-course dinner at Café Roze, and 10 percent off your food bill at Peninsula.

Other participants in East Nashville Restaurant Week include Lyra, Pearl Diver, The Fox Bar and Cocktail Club (both Pearl and the Fox recently got some national attention, by the way), and The Treehouse, which will offer a special Chinese New Year menu.

More participants will be added before the event launch, and details will be added to the website. Click on the individual restaurant logo to see details about the deal.
