Nashville has more themed holiday pop-up bars this year than leaves on a poinsettia plant. This is the ninth in our 12 Days of Christmas Pop-Ups series, designed to help you find more holiday bling for your buck.
Virgin Hotels Nashville is a little bit extra when it comes to creating a good-time vibe, so it is no surprise that the Music Row property has two totally different holiday pop-ups under one roof. Start on the ground floor, where the coffee shop, Funny Library, has been transformed into Mariah Carey’s Black Irish Holiday Bar. You’ll know you're in the right place when you see the neon “All I Want for Christmas Is You” sign. The singer's experience (also available at a few other Virgin Hotels, including Chicago and Dallas) is offered for 90-minute slots between 4 and 9:15 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and include a complimentary Black Irish cocktail.
Then head upstairs to The Cabin Club, a ski-chalet-inspired space in the hotel’s rooftop Pool Club. Inside you'll find pine and birch trees and faux snow cascading from the rafters. Outside, heated cabins, both with menus of savory and sweet s’mores kits, truffle mac-and-cheese, chili, grilled cheese with tomato bisque and Grandma’s cookies served in a holiday tin. Reservations are required if you want to nab a heated cabin.
