Illustration of a woman holding shopping bags

The idea behind TenThirtyFive is to give at-risk young women a place to shop for clothes with dignity. What that means for the general public is that they operate two upscale thrift shops across the street from each other in Donelson (one for dresses and gowns, the other for everything else). Sales of athletic gear, jeans, handbags and even discounted brand-new Draper James clothing (donated by the brand) fund the store’s mission. Inventory is well-organized, clean and in excellent condition. Sizing is inclusive, and lighting and dressing rooms make it easy to shop secondhand.
