I could fill an entire issue of the Scene with reasons to love the library, but since I only have this short blurb, I’ll focus on one specific reason — the Nashville Public Library’s Seed Exchange. The simple exchange program allows library card holders to borrow seeds from participating locations, grow them at home or out in the community, and then (following a seed protocol) bring the new seeds back for others to do the same. Through the program, the library also offers workshops and gardening advice, which you can keep up with through its Seed Exchange email list or the Nashville Public Library Seed Exchange Facebook page.
