Belmont University cut the ribbon on its new Fisher Center for the Performing Arts in September 2021 and ushered in a new era of music-making in Nashville. The $180 million, 1,727-seat performance space was fashioned after some of the finest opera houses in Europe. As a multifunctional hall, the Fisher Center now provides Nashville with an ideal space for opera, dance and music performances of all kinds. The hall offers beautiful sight lines and marvelous acoustics — a bright jewel in Nashville’s already impressive crown of performance centers.
