Whether we owe it to Prometheus or the aliens who built the pyramids, somewhere deep in our reptilian brains there is a reflexive sense of awe that gets triggered when we are presented with pretty lights. The fantastically overdone incandescence of Bruce Munro’s Light installation achieves what only way too many lightbulbs can: pupil-widening retina sugar. Kids dig it, too.
