Are you guys familiar with the fringe electronic sub-genre known as Happy Hardcore? It's the one that goes really, really fast with squeaky vocals and impossibly positive lyrics. It's the sub-genre that makes baggy pants grow to riDONKulous portions and makes jelly bracelets reproduce like rabbits until they consume a person’s entire arm. It's a fun (if inherently silly) form of music, and it looks like Nashville might just have a solid, healthy scene. Well, it at least has one crew, Sound System Syndicate, that's working tirelessly to make it seem like we have a scene. Fresh off of their tour of local Hot Topic outlets (yes, you read that correctly) the SSS crew invades The Muse for an early evening of excitable electronica and positive, drug-free vibes with Eric Masq, DJ Nuero, Detra_mentl, Weapon X and Reddman.
