An incredibly interesting place run by an equally interesting man nicked named Santa. If you are ever in Nashville then you must stop by Santa's Pub. Toward the end of December everything's covered in Christmas lights and tinsel, so you can excuse me for assuming that Santa's Pub on Bransford Avenue near Craighead was a seasonal spot when I drove by it on one of the last days of 2011. It's not. The mobile home/bar with floor-to-ceiling airbrushed murals of reindeer, candy canes and Santa on a Harley is open year-round. The above video was shot by Brian Hallett, and tells the story of the festive dive and its owner. If you're into eccentric roadside attractions, you've got to see this.
