Callie Khouri bought this house.

Although ABC has announced most of its renewals and cancellations for next year’s primetime programming, fans of Nashville (not to mention its cast, crew, writers, producers, et al.) are still awaiting word on whether or not they’ll have show next season. Regardless of the outcome, it appears the show’s creator and creative executive producer Callie Khouri will continue spending time in Music City.

In March, Khouri, who’s married to super-producer music legend T Bone Burnett, purchased a house on Woodlawn Drive in West Nashville for just under $1 million, according to a deed obtained by the Scene, which you can see for yourselves after the jump.

Fun Fact: The home’s previous owner was Hoyt Hill, who ran Village Wines for years but ran into financial and fraud difficulties and whose business dissolved in a flurry of lawsuits.

So, does this purchase suggest Khouri is confident Nashville will live to see future seasons? Could it mean T Bone Burnett’s gonna make more records here? Is it just a smart It City income property investment?
