So you think a Matrix 88-98 GM Grill Conversion is some kind of George Foreman attachment, eh? Get educated this weekend at Hunters Custom Automotive's annual auto-palooza, which turns the Nolensville Road Fairgrounds into a gathering place for hot rods, rad tats and slicked-back hair. A fixture on East Nashville's Main Street for 41 years, Hunters puts the hammer down with pin-up and best tattoo contests courtesy of Kustom Thrills Tattoo, a manufacturers' midway loaded with new gadgets and accessories, tunes from DJ Koto, and live rockabilly music Saturday night from Jakehead. But the stars are the 200 tricked-out rides that make up the car show, from muscle cars to street rods. These cats make Fast and Furious look slow and studious. Tickets are $10.
