Robertson is coming to Vandy to talk about his memoir Testimony, which came out Nov. 15. Reviews have already called out the book for overflowing with ego, but at this point, what did you expect? A well-publicized feud within The Band over Robertson taking credit (and the accompanying royalty payments) for songs that other members (most notably the late Levon Helm) considered more of a collaborative effort has led to Robertson becoming a notorious figure in rock ’n’ roll.
