The Latin Party

On Saturday, Conexión Américas, an organization dedicated to supporting Latin American families, will host The Latin Party, its annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and the local Latinx community. The organization offers help to more than 9,000 Latino families in Tennessee, assisting them in financial matters like starting a business or buying a home, and also offering support for kids in school. The party will raise funds for Conexión Américas in these efforts — and as the organization notes in the event description, in this current political climate Latinx and immigrant communities need all the solidarity and support they can get. The Latin Party is a 21-and-up affair, and they recommend cocktail attire for the night. There will be performances from the Music City Latin Orchestra, food from Karla’s Catering and dancers from Global Education Center.
