Garth Brooks’ studio band The G-Men has been with him since the very beginning. They’ve played on all of his albums, from his self-titled 1989 debut to his most recent record, 2016’s Gunslinger — which means they have millions of album sales under their belts. What’s more, they were inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2016. Thursday’s performance at 3rd & Lindsley — a rare treat since these guys don’t normally play out — will feature Bobby Wood on piano, Milton Sledge on drums, Bruce Bouton on steel guitar and Chris Leuzinger on lead guitar. The show will benefit the Local 257 Musicians Union Emergency Relief Fund in honor of Mike Chapman, a bassist for Brooks who passed away in 2016. 7:30 p.m. at 3rd & Lindsley, 818 Third Ave. S.
