Cadillac Three frontman Jaren Johnston is no stranger to commercial country success, having penned hits for the likes of Keith Urban and Tim McGraw. But it’s with the rowdy Southern rock trio that he truly gets to shine, writing country-fried scorchers alongside bandmates Kelby Ray and Neil Mason. Thursday’s show sees the Nashville-based trio headlining the Ryman for the first time, just days after the release of their latest album Legacy. Texas country stalwart Ray Wylie Hubbard will open the show — the 70-year-old artist just released a brand-new album, Tell the Devil I’m Getting There as Fast as I Can, so keep an ear out for new tunes mixed in with old favorites like “Snake Farm” and “Conversation With the Devil.
