Friday was the first night of summer, and an appropriately seasonal storm played hell with plans all across Nashville. That included knocking out power for more than 40,000 people, and it also did its best to throw a wrench in the Music City debut of Los Angeles native and pop music force-of-nature Billie Eilish, maker of music that

. Her sold-out show at Ascend Amphitheater was delayed by a downpour, replete with lightning and a call to evacuate the venue, but she was finally able to take the stage (without opener Denzel Curry, unfortunately) later in the evening.
