Activists in Nashville this weekend held a series of "24 Hour Display of Power" events in response to violence, beginning Friday night with a service at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Bordeaux. The event continued Saturday with a march to and rally at the Metro Courthouse downtown.The events — organized in part by members of Black Nashville Assembly — were staged as a form of violence interruption in response to recent deadly incidents in Nashville.
