Nashville police have arrested a man who allegedly killed his brother with a sword, nearly severing his head.
Colleagues at The City Paper report:
Charles Masters, 33, is charged with criminal homicide in the death of 28-year-old Jordan Masters following an altercation inside their apartment on Elm Hill Pike. The younger Masters was found last weekend with multiple lacerations that police believe were caused by a sword. According to an MNPD release, Jordan Masters’ head was partially severed. When emergency crews responded to the apartment, Charles Masters made several unsolicited comments acknowledging that he killed his brother, according to police. The MNPD release said Charles Masters had been lying with his brother’s body for several nights before notifying authorities.
Oddly enough, that makes two bizarre killings involving beheadings (near or actual) in a month. The first, you'll remember, was the case of 37-year-old Henry Baxter, who murdered his adoptive father and then beheaded him with a shovel.
And that wasn't even the weirdest part...
