In a four-part spectacle that was every bit as intense, entertaining and — judging by some of the comments left on our music blog, Nashville Cream — embittering as last year's Road to Bonnaroo series, the 2010 installment, hosted by Mercy Lounge and BMI, crowned four more Nashville acts to take the stage in Manchester.

The Non-Commissioned Officers will entertain the Troo Music Lounge on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. with a set of their surging, Eno-driven indie rock. Nashville rock enthusiasts will then have two full days to turn their attentions to whatever else strikes their fancy — World Cup games, impromptu arepa-eating contests, screenings of Footloose — before the next RTB winner performs. That'll be whip-smart siren Caitlin Rose, who takes over the Troo Music Lounge Sunday at 1:20 p.m.

As if besting 28 other bands to make it to Manchester weren't enough, the Bonnaroo gods have saved one more competition in store for the last two Nashville bands to survive the tyranny of democracy: each other.

How I Became the Bomb start their set of electro-pop fantasy at Cafe Where at 5 p.m. Sunday, and will be less than halfway through when Space Capone strike up their milky space-funk at 5:20 over at the Troo Music Lounge.
