Albree Sexton and Michael Dolfini Identified as Nashville Tornado Victims

Tornado damage sustained by East Nashville's Attaboy on Tuesday morning

Albree Sexton (33) and her partner Michael Dolfini (36) were leaving Attaboy lounge in the heart of East Nashville early Tuesday morning when a tornado dropped from the sky. Dolfini worked at the bar, which is now surrounded by debris and devastation.

As reported by our colleague Steve Cavendish for The New York Times, the couple settled in East Nashville more than a year ago. Sexton was working at Lockeland Table, and Bolfini was employed at Attaboy.

According to Cara Graham, Sexton’s boss at Lockeland, the couple was at Attaboy when the tornado struck. The two attempted to run for their car, but Sexton was struck by debris and killed. Dolfini died later at Skyline Medical Center. They were two of the 22 fatalities confirmed so far from a storm that spawned multiple tornadoes across Middle Tennessee. Hundreds more have been displaced.

“I have never had someone walk into our restaurant home and become more ingrained in our fabric,” Graham told the Times. “She was amazing. She fit right in and was so kind.”

Here's a list of resources for those looking to help and those who need it.

Update (March 4): The Fox has organized a GoFundMe for the families of Sexton and Dolfini.
