So this arrived in my email box today, and it's just too bizarre to ignore:

The Nashville Humane Association is one of ten animal shelters or rescue groups nationwide who will be submitting a cat to compete in the inaugural edition of The Meow Mix House, the first reality show for cats. The cats will travel to New York City and live together from June 6th to 16th in a specially-designed house on 5th Avenue. These cat-testants, selected from geographically and culturally diverse backgrounds, will share a kitty crib that will rival any loft ever featured on the Real World. Thanks to webcams equipped in every room in the house, all of the action can be viewed in real time on the show's dedicated website, www.MeowMixHouse.com.

They should just admit it - when they say "all of the action" everybody knows they mean "three stray cats pick on the one that's already been declawed."
