"Lacy" Last week Ken’s Gold Club became the first adult business in Nashville to have its operating license revoked by the busybodies on the Sexually Oriented Business board. This doesn’t put Ken’s out of business yet—owners can appeal the decision—but it sure doesn’t look good for the “1850’s southern parlor” themed strip joint. The board revoked Ken’s license because of 28 violations of the SOB code, including “grinding lap dances” and “strippers fondling their genitalia on stage,” according to Metro police spokesman Don Aaron. “But,” we asked, “isn’t fondling genitalia on stage what strippers do?” “The degree of fondling was perceived to be in violation of the code,” says Aaron. It’s always a matter of degrees. The multi-month probe also netted some criminal charges. Kimberly “Lacy” White allegedly approached an undercover investigator at the club and asked if he “had any coke,” according to a police report. “Lacy then told me that if I would go and get her $50 worth of powder cocaine, she would take me to the upstairs lap dance area of the club and in exchange for the cocaine, perform a manual act of masturbation with her hands on me,” says the report. In another incident, Tracy “Nicole” Fizer was busted at a Nashville Motel 6 after offering to perform “oral and straight sex for $500” on an undercover officer. On her arrest sheet she listed Ken’s Gold Club as her place of employment. I’m not sure if it’s illegal to hire hookers to work in your strip club, but it sure doesn’t help Ken’s chances of getting its license back.
