Daryl Cagle is a nationally respected editorial cartoonist and runs Cagle Cartoons, one of the biggest syndicates for cartoonists in the country. He's also a relatively new Nashvillian; he moved from California to the west side of the city after his wife began teaching at Vanderbilt. With umbilical houses, downtown cranes, Music Row demolitions and pop-up subdivisions all around him, he approached the Scene about a series of cartoons on how he views the city's planning, er, process. We happily agreed.
