OK. So, not that I'd expect you to know this, but Tuesdays are press days here at the ol' newspapatorium. Thus, I'd love to opine a bit about the above video's possible Being John Malkovich allusions, or about the fact that the former Mr. Jessica Simpson doesn't appear to have aged in the past 15 years, or the fact that I haven't watched The Sing-Off ever. Alas, I simply haven't the time. I have to get my stories in to art director Elizabeth Jones, and she can be really, really heinous about deadlines.
So we'll stick with the facts: Nashville-residing Ben Folds and his Ben Folds Five released a retrospective titled The Best Imitation of Myself: A Retrospective today. Also, Folds is a judge on The Sing-Off, which Nashvillians Street Corner Symphony nearly won in its first season. (Seriously, click that link. I was on a roll that day!)
