Hey yo, Black Belles frontwoman Olivia Jean. Yes, I'm talking to you. I see you driving around my neighborhood all the time. In a car — not flying around on a broomstick, as you would have us believe. The jig is up! You're a rock 'n' roller, not a sorceress. For shame.
Seriously though, goth-garage quartet, Third Man recording artists and confirmed Jack White proteges The Black Belles have a new video for their song "Wishing Well," and you can watch it above. As I mentioned when their self-titled debut dropped back in November, the Belles' "Wishing Well" is not a cover of Terence Trent D'Arby's song of the same name, but I'd really like to hear what that would sound like. Just me? Anyway, there's more info on how to purchase the "Wishing Well" single, plus where to see the gals live and all that, over at The Black Belles' website. For now, enjoy footage of them wearing clothes that have actual color — or as a certain color-blind co-Creamster of mine might say, "What is that, green? Blue? Shit, I don't know. I'm color blind."
