Leave it to rock’s arguably most unlikely couple since Ryan Adams and Mandy Moore (Deer Tick frontman, part-time Nashville transplant and
onetime Scene cover boyJohn McCauley and pop songstress Vanessa Carlton) to have a gypsy marry them. The far-fetched love birds vowed to love, honor and keep each other, ‘til death do they part, at a poolside ceremony in Phoenix, Ariz., on Friday that was officiated by none other than rock legend Stevie Nicks, you know, of Fleetwood Mac fame.
With an attitude of gratitude, Carlton shouted of said nuptials from the viral rooftops by tweeting the photo above, along with a missive to the mistress of ceremonies: “Thanks Stevie for marrying us!”
