According to John Gotty of Nashville-based blog
The Smoking Section, Canadian R&B/hip-hop superstar Drake —
who's playing Bridgestone tonight— just stopped by Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet School.
Gotty tweetedthe above image, which was
picked up by Drake fan site #TeamDrizzy. Team Drizz had this to report:
While there he talked to the students and answered questions. Drake himself dropped out of highschool, but was able to share some wise words to the students. One student asked Drake if he would ever return to Degrassi and he replied, “Probably not at this stage”. Drake also brought a girl on stage and sang happy birthday to her.
So, you know, do as Drake says, not as he does. Unless you want to be a platinum-selling recording artist, that is. Still, good looking out, Drake. Pay it forward and so forth.
