Aww yeah, summer solstice is here — time to bust out our druid robes and go frolic in the woods! Just kidding, fuck that noise — we all know that summer is about jumping in the whip, turning the beats up loud and cruising real slow with no particular place to go (except maybe
that announced-last-minute Yelawolf show tonight at Anthem). And man, do we have some beats this week. First up is "Sinkholes," the new one from Kid Dead. It's a slow burner, contemplative and introspective, touching on Dead's life experience without regret or nostalgia. It's actually a really beautiful tune, and the accompanying video by Maurice "24/7" Barrett really conveys its low-key, understated vibe well.
