Rising pop songsmith Maggie Rogers is learning what Nashvillians have known for years: One night at the Ryman just ain't enough.
As she circles the globe in support of her incandescent major-label debut Heard It In a Past Life, Rogers — who stops at Marathon Music Works for a sold-out show on April 4 — had already announced one show at the Ryman, on Oct. 15. And with the pre-sale blowing up, she announced yesterday that she'll be sticking around for another night, to play an encore show on Oct. 16. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday, March 29, at 10 a.m.
Rogers was launched to stardom when a video of Pharrell getting knocked out by the then-NYU student's song "Alaska" went viral in 2016. But Heard It In a Past Life — on which Rogers has writing and producing credits for every track — shows that was no fluke.
