Iron Maiden Returning to Bridgestone Arena in June

Bruce Dickinson performs with Iron Maiden at Bridgestone Arena in 2013

When The Spin proclaimed Iron Maiden's decades-in-the-making 2013 stop at Bridgestone Arena as, "the best major metal show to roll through town in recent memory," we weren't fucking wrong.

"Though characteristically cathartic, you don’t typically think of metal shows as emotionally transcendent experiences. But for die-hard Music City Maiden fans, last night’s show clearly, clearly was," we opined.

We also ended our deservedly fawning review with a hope that it wouldn't take another 21 years for Maiden to return to Nashville.

And it won't.

This morning the band announced 25 North American dates for its The Book of Souls Tour. Among them is a June 13 return to Bridgestone Arena. Grammy-winning Swedish doom metal band of mystery Ghost will open. Tickets go on sale next Friday, Jan. 27, right here. They're $35-$85 and you should totally buy them, heshers and headbangers!
