Here's a pertinent bit of news for planning out your festival season: Louisville's Forecastle Festival has announced its day-by-day breakdown.
Friday, July 14 features local Grammy winners Cage the Elephant, hip-hop heroes Run the Jewels and the ferocious rock of Chicano Batman. Saturday, July 15 is especially packed with Sturgill Simpson, LCD Soundsystem, Vince Staples and lots more (like local surf punx *repeat repeat). Sunday, July 16 has a little nostalgia on deck, with PJ Harvey and Weezer topping a bill that also includes Conor Oberst and Spoon — plus Charles Bradley and a slew of great Nashvillians on the undercard including Adia Victoria, Aaron Lee Tasjan and Rayland Baxter.
You may find this especially useful if you don't have time to go all-in for a fest weekend, since single-day tickets will go on sale Friday, March 31 at 10 a.m. Eastern (9 a.m. Central, if you're keeping score). They'll start at $59.50 and you can pick ’em up right here.
