Sometimes, when things aren't going well, the last thing you want is someone asking how you're doing — or even worse, telling you to cheer up. That particular kind of salt in the wound runs throughout "Crazy Over Love," a melancholy tune in which Tanya Montana Coe, daughter of outlaw country cult hero David Allan Coe, looks back over her shoulder at a relationship she'd rather forget.

The song ends her debut album Silver Bullet. The recording is actually a voice memo recording which Coe made after a late night out, which she and producer Shane Tutmarc decided to keep for the record.

Tutmarc also filmed a video for the song, which we're pleased to premiere today. It cuts between Coe performing and folks making merry during Honky-Tonk Tuesday at American Legion Post 82.

"One more person asks me to smile, I think I'll kill someone," she muses, as the camera slides through a crowd of faces you might recognize (Jenny Lewis was reportedly in the crowd that night — see if you can spot her). Check it out above, and pick up Silver Bullet on vinyl or digital via Coe's website.
