Sun Seeker comes strong out of the gate with their first longer-format release, a gorgeous folk-psych-pop EP called Biddeford that is out tomorrow, July 14, via Third Man Records. But as the group points out in a talk with Scene contributor Brittney McKenna, the founding members have a lengthy history together, dating back to grade school. To hone their chops, they relied heavily on all-ages spaces where they could play together. Little surprise, then, that the tracks, produced by Buddy Hughen (whose credits include performing with Tristen and co-producing her new LP Sneaker Waves), have just the right amount of polish.

You can hear the band, which as of February includes pitch-perfect contributions from local MVP Rodrigo Avendano, in person at Third Man Records Friday night (tickets are $10-$12 and available here). But before all that goes down, treat yourself to a full stream of the EP, which we're very pleased to premiere below.
