The 20th running of Bonnaroo sold out quickly, thanks in no small part to a phenomenal lineup. Just a few weeks out from the fest, set for Sept. 2-5, word has come that there are a handful of notable shifts to that bill.
Per posts across the festival’s social media, Janelle Monáe, Lana Del Rey and King Gizzard and the Lizzard Wizzard are unfortunately no longer playing this year. Australian dance-pop trio Rüfüs du Sol will now appear on Sunday, while Texas-born, Thai-inspired funk-soul-psych outfit Khruangbin has been added to Friday’s lineup. The lineup is still stacked with greats running the gamut from megastar Lizzo to lesser-known-but-also-awesome Makaya McCraven, but all three of the losses are major fan-favorites.
