On this downright frigid Wednesday, Bonnaroo offers something to warm you up: the lineup announcement for the 2025 festival, set for June 12 through 15. If you caught the flyer leak posted to Reddit yesterday, you won’t notice many changes — if any. On an admittedly very quick look, I couldn’t spot any differences. Atop the bill are country star Luke Combs (headlining Thurdsay), hip-hop hero Tyler, the Creator (Friday), pop queen Olivia Rodrigo (Saturday) and folk-pop world traveler Hozier (Sunday).
For the rap fans in the audience, offerings include Glorilla, Nelly, JPEGMAFIA and Action Bronson. While Insane Clown Posse also raps, of course, they’re their own thing (whoop-whoop). There will be many different flavors of pop, including ’70s-schooled outfit The Lemon Twigs, inventive city pop-kissed champions Ginger Root and influence-hopping ace beabadoobee.Â
Along the widely variable spectrum of “rock,” find Mannequin Pussy, MJ Lenderman, Modest Mouse, Avril Lavigne, Vampire Weekend, Queens of the Stone Age and metal legends Megadeth. Lots of locals are in the mix too, including Marcus King, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Grace Bowers and the Hodge Podge.
That’s just skimming the surface. Among other items of note, groove-centric pop songsmith extraordinaire Remi Wolf hosts this year’s SuperJam, billed as “Remi Wolf’s Insanely Fire 1970s Pool Party.” Lovably weird Aussie rockers King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard will partake in the inaugural Roo Residency, performing three sets over three days. And the festival will debut an immersive sound environment called The Infinity Stage, which the release describes as “The World’s Largest 360-Degree Spatial Audio Experience.”
Passes go on sale at 10 a.m. Central on Thursday, Jan. 9. Early birds are encouraged: “Guaranteed lowest-priced tickets” will get marked up after the first hour. Check Bonnaroo’s website for all the details and purchase options, and take a look at the full lineup below.
