Margo Price's debut album Midwest Farmer's Daughter is a blast of top-shelf country due from Third Man Records on March 25. The album is the payoff to years of struggle; you can read about it, and now you can hear Price tell it herself in "Hands of Time," the latest pre-release track from the record.

"I'm more excited to share this song than anything else on the record," says Price in a Facebook post. "This is my story and I am so thankful for all the wonderful musicians and producers who helped me tell it."

After the jump, check out a "pseudo-video," in which the song plays as the album spins and a Baby Ben clock ticks away.

The opening track from Margo Price's debut LP 'Midwest Farmer's Daughter'. "Hands of Time" is a bleeding country anthem that doubles as album centerpiece and biographical mission statement.

'Midwest Farmer's Daughter' was recorded at Sun Studios in Memphis, with Price pawning her wedding ring and selling her car to pay for the sessions. Next week she'll perform at NPR Music's SXSW showcase, billed next to Vince Staples and Anderson Paak.
