Mad Decent Block Party Nashville Stop Canceled

First Meghan Trainor, now this?!

Stuff those glow sticks back into your furry backpacks and have a seat, kids. Due to “unforeseen circumstances," EDM purveyor Mad Decent’s annual Block Party tour has canceled its stop in Nashville at Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater on Aug. 28. The tour’s publicist says there are no plans to reschedule at the moment.

The roving block party, with its lineup varying from stop to stop, was to have included Mad Decent founder Diplo’s dancehall alter ego Major Lazer, RL Grime, Zeds Dead and Grandtheft among others. Now in its eighth year, the tour made its first stop in Nashville last year and tickets sold out. Read Mad Decent’s official statement in the image above.
