Joy Williams Unveils 'Until the Levee,' Album Track List and Release Date [Fresh Track]

Last time we saw Nashville resident and

Joy Williams, we saw a lot of her — it was in

the lead single from her forthcoming record Venus. Today, Williams is unveiling a lot more details about Venus, including its release date, track list, album art and yet another single.

Williams' first post-Wars album will be released June 30 via Sensibility Recordings/Columbia, and the latest tune she's sharing with us is called "Until the Levee." As the singer tells EW, "When I was writing ‘Until the Levee,’ I felt like I was swimming in that hot water. Everyone was asking about the abrupt end of the Civil Wars, I was trying to sort out a new rhythm as a new mother, fighting for my marriage which was going through a major overhaul, and reeling over my Dad’s terminal cancer diagnosis. I felt like I was up to my eyeballs in it all."
