* You probably know that the Schermerhorn was among the hardest-hit local institutions back in The Flood. Well, the Nashville Symphony folks have a new blog, where they'll be keeping us updated on venue changes and other important news items for the forthcoming season.
* Madi Diaz is currently raising funds in order to tour and to put out her record, Plastic Moon. A portion of donations will go to Americans for the Arts. Classy. Go 'head, girl.
* Remember how Bad Cop was signed to ROIR? Well, Harvest the Beast will be out via ROIR on Sept. 14, and Matt Robison directed a promo video for the BC boys.
* Speaking of Bad Cop, Bad Cop's Adam Anyone just released a video for his song "Sail Away." It was directed by Cream contributor Seth Graves, and the song is nothing like Styx's "Come Sail Away." It's even less like Enya's "Orinoco Flow (Sail Away)." It's slightly like a sloppy, balls-out, psych-punk version of The Edgar Winter Group's "Free Ride." Actually, not really at all.
