NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Reuters) - For the first time in its more than 80-year history, the Grand Ole Opry is embroiled in an age-discrimination lawsuit, Opry officials said on Friday. The $10 million lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court on Thursday against the venerable country music palace by 74-year-old Stonewall Jackson, who also charged breach of contract and retaliation.Jackson claimed in the suit that his Opry appearances have been cut back since 1998 and that his income has declined drastically.
