Well, the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Fest has announced its
lineup, and even
its "by-day schedule"— Kendrick Lamar and Deadmau5 will play Friday night, Mumford & Sons will headline Saturday night, and Billy Joel will close it down on Sunday. Thus, we're pretty much set on the "Music" half of Bonnaroo's "Music and Arts" offerings. What's left? Just the laffs, friends.
Today, 'Roo unveiled the bulk of its 2015 comedy lineup, and topping the list are: @Midnight and Talking Dead host, podcaster and Ryan Seacrest-of-comedy, Chris Hardwick; brilliant musical comedy mastermind and Comedy Bang! Bang! sidekick Reggie Watts; hometown champ Ralphie "Screw Ludacris" May; and Comedy Central's Roastmaster General Jeff Ross. Other notable-in-the-comedy-world names include Ron Funches, Kurt Braunohler and Moshe Kasher.
So, what's conspicuous about this particular 'Roo comedy lineup? Out of 17 comedians announced, only three are women: genuinely hilarious queen of mean Natasha Leggero, as well as Jamie Lee and Cameron Esposito. Bonnaroo promises that more comics will be announced, so maybe the wack male-to-female ratio will be de-wack-ified presently. See the full list of announced comics after the jump.
Bonnaroo goes down June 11-15, and tickets are available via this link.
