Last time we heard from local R&B/club trio BASECAMP, they were dropping “ATSW," their catchy cover of classic Swedish pop group Ace of Base’s “All That She Wants.” Well the guys are back, this time with a remix of Australian pop artist Sia’s “Chandelier.” It’s a mid-tempo hit with a deft beat flip at around the 0:45 mark and enough twists and turns throughout to keep you guessing. Rio, “The Kill”

Local R&B singer-songwriter/producer Rio, who was featured in our recent Summer Guide issue, dropped some unexpected heat earlier last week. He’s currently working on a new project called The Feel Good, and the first result is a track entitled “The Kill.” Rio wastes no time going straight for the kill, crooning seductive melodies over some pacing snares and an infectious beat.
