Surely you remember underappreciated local indie-rockers Ocelots. They're one of those local bands who play good songs really well. Anyhoo, the band emailed me to let me know they're playing a non-NBN show this coming Thursday. As the Scene's music listings editor, receiving emails announcing shows is nothing special to me. In this email, however, I feel the band threw down a bit of a gauntlet that is more than Cream-worthy. Check it out:
Sort of last minute, but we will be playing at Springwater this Thursday night with M'boro friends The Only Sons. Should be fun. Also will be our first chance to try out the taco bar at Springwater. For every person who mentions this email at the show, Greg [the singer] will eat 1 taco on stage. Hope to see you there.
